Finally. This is Part 1 of my detailed review of the Fujinon 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR. I sum up my reasons for buying and change over from the “old” kit lens (18-55mm F2.8-4): – Larger focal length range – Weather sealing – Tripod Detection (OIS) – Aperture ring with markings and stops I give you a summary of all important specifiactions of this lens. I also tell you about the build quality and explain the features of the OIS and the performance of the Autofocus. Also I did some pixelpeeping – or at least some test shots and I provide these test images, so that you can compare the pics of some of my primes and the old 18-55mm with this new zoom lens results. Last but not least I give you my conclusion, if this lens is worth buying for you..
